Day 01: Arrival Delhi - Welcome to India.
Our representative at the airport welcomes you and then you will be transferred to the hotel in a private car. Rest & overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: New Delhi: Old & the new facets
In the first half we visit the Ancient (OLD) parts of Delhi covering the Red fort, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk. We drive towards Connaught place - the blooming heart of New Delhi via Raj Ghat. The second half takes you through the Modern (NEW) parts of Delhi covering the India Gate, President House and Sansad Bhavan. The evening gives you the option of enjoying the Sound & light show at the red fort or at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra [Sightseeing]
Drive to Agra. Arrival and check-in at the Hotel. After lunch city tour covering Red Fort - a visit to the fort in 'Agra' is must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here. Enjoy the beauty of Taj Mahal - at the time of sunset, a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur [Enroute Fatehpur Sikri]
After breakfast visit Itmad-ud-daula's Tomb - The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elephants overshadow the Taj. Afternoon drive to Jaipur Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, The Famous Shrine of Seikh Salim Chisti, Akbars Fort, Panch Mahal. Drive to Jaipur. Arrival and check-in at Hotel. Evening free for independent Activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur [Sightseeing]
In the morning drive to Jaipur. Take an excursion Amber fort with joy ride on an Elephant. City Palace - occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory - An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli - Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal. Evening to explore Markets of Pink City. Overnight to Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur -Delhi - Amritsar
Today After breakfast drive to Delhi train station to board Shatabdi Express to Amritsar. Jaipur to Delhi is 5 Hrs drive. Train to Amritsar leaves at 4.30 PM and reaches Amritsar at 10.35 PM. Pickup from Amritsar train station at Transfer to Hotel.
Day 07: Amritsar Local City Tour
Morning after breakfast proceed for Amritsar City Tour covering Golden Temple - is the most sacred shrine of the Sikhs. The temple is in the middle of the holy tank called the Pool of Immortality dug up by Guru Ram Das. The temple is a pleasing square building in marble with inlaid walls and a domed roof. The holy book of the Sikhs the Guru Granth Sahib is kept under a Sikh canopy and pilgrims file past it. Jalianwala Bagh - A historical monument, Here lies the memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by British General Dyer. Durgiana Mandir - Amritsar also houses a wonderful temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. Easily accessible from the Golden Temple, the Durgiana Mandir also offers puja to deities of Lakshmi and Narayana. Supposedly built during the 16th century AD. Ram Bagh - Ram Bagh a beautiful garden, an accustomed listener to the Neighs of thousand horses, announcing the arrival of the statesman of the century Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780-1839) the Lion of Punjab, has in its heart the summer Palace of this great ruler. Wagah Border - One of the many nearby places to visit from Amritsar is the Wagah Border. Located on the Indo-Pakistan border, Wagah is 28 kilometres from the Amritsar main town. A good number of visitors come to this place to see the change of guards ceremony and the flag hoisting and lowering activities which are done with great skill and precision by the border security forces of both the countries. A site you cannot afford to miss.
Day 08: Amritsar - Delhi
Early Morning transfer to Amritsar Train station to board Shatabdi Express to Delhi. Train leaves Amritsar at 05.00 AM and reaches Delhi at 11.15 AM. You can proceed from Train station to Airport for your onward journey.
